Courtroom Dress Code
The Leon Municipal Court asks everyone attending court to dress in clean, respectful clothing appropriate for a court appearance.
Dress Requirements
- Hats and caps must be removed before entering the courtroom.
- Shoes are required.
- Avoid clothing with offensive words, images, or messages.
- Sunglasses should be removed unless medically necessary.
- Please silence mobile devices before court begins.
- Food and drinks are not permitted in the courtroom.
- Photography and audio or video recording are not permitted unless authorized by the Court.
Courtroom Conduct
Please arrive early enough to check in. Treat the judge, court staff, officers, witnesses, and everyone attending court with respect. Remain quiet while court is in session and follow all instructions given by the judge or court staff.
If you need an interpreter or reasonable accommodation, contact the Court before your scheduled appearance.
