Leon Christian Church is a place where everyone is welcome—just as they are.
Led by Pastor Kevin Bayless, this local church is known for its warm, friendly congregation and relaxed, come-as-you-are atmosphere. There’s no pressure to dress a certain way or meet expectations—what matters most is feeling comfortable and being part of a caring community.
On any given Sunday, you’ll find people dressed in everything from shorts and jeans to business casual, with the occasional dress or sport coat mixed in. Most days, even the pastor keeps it casual in jeans. And during football season—especially on Super Bowl Sunday—you’ll likely see plenty of Chiefs jerseys (and maybe a few from rival teams).
They also provide our community with The Joy Pantry . Available to anyone who needs some extra help with grocery items. Distribution is on the 3rd Wednesday of each month at LCC from 11AM-2PM and the following Saturday from 9AM-11AM at the South door. Check out our Calendar to view specific dates.
Each family will receive a full bag of groceries including a meat item at no cost.
