Bluestem Jr/Sr High School (Grades 7–12)

Bluestem Jr/Sr High School serves students in grades 7–12, offering a strong academic foundation alongside Career and Technical Education (CTE) pathways, particularly in agriculture and science.

Students have opportunities to engage in hands-on learning that prepares them for real-world careers, supported by dedicated educators like agriculture/science instructor Miranda Depenbusch.

Bluestem Elementary School (Pre-K–6)

Bluestem Elementary School provides a strong early education experience with a unique, hands-on approach through its Bluestem Elementary Ag Academy.

This program integrates agriculture directly into daily learning, giving younger students exposure to farming, production, and sustainability concepts at an early age.

Agriculture & Career Programs

Bluestem’s agriculture program is a standout feature of the district, fully integrated with the local community:

Bluestem Elementary Ag Academy introduces agriculture through hands-on experiences
Students participate in agricultural production, supplying locally raised meat and eggs
Products are sold through Bluestem Mercantile
High school students engage in CTE pathways focused on agriculture and science
Students create and sell goods such as candles and woodworking projects, gaining entrepreneurial experience
