Water Bill Update

You may notice a change in your water bill starting this month.

This adjustment is tied directly to ongoing infrastructure improvements, including replacing aging water lines and upgrading fire hydrants to keep our system safe, reliable, and ready when it matters most.

The 10% surcharge has been removed

Updated rates now reflect the true cost of water used per household

These changes were not made overnight. They have been discussed over several months—and really, have been part of long-term planning since Phase 1 began back in 2019.

We understand—no one enjoys seeing higher bills. That said, these updates are necessary to avoid larger, more expensive emergency repairs down the road and to continue providing dependable service to our community.

Our goal is to be intentional, transparent, and proactive so Leon can continue moving forward in a strong and sustainable way.
