We’re happy to share that Cox Communications will be bringing fiber internet to our community!

Over the next few weeks, you may start to notice small flags appearing around town. These mark underground utilities as crews prepare for the fiber installation.

What to Expect:

• Temporary flags in yards, easements, and along streets

• Crews doing digging and some overhead (aerial) work

• Equipment and workers moving through different parts of town

This is all part of the process to bring faster, more reliable internet service to Leon.

Timeline:

Work will continue over the next few months and is expected to be completed by July.

Once everything is finished, residents will have the option to sign up for Cox services if they choose.

A Friendly Reminder:

This type of infrastructure project can cause some short-term inconvenience, but it’s a big long-term improvement for our community—supporting homes, businesses, students, and future growth.
